Some Ornithologists classify Swifts and Hummingbirds together because they share important wing features. This original piece was done after several studies of Hummingbirds that had ventured inside my studio...I hope you get to hold one sometime....delicate, fragile, tough, bold, fearless...and I'm fascinated by them on a daily basis.
